A hand-raised ceramic bowl with narrow base and rounded rim, to the inner face an extensive Aramaic inked apotropaic inscription surrounding a central panel with profile image of a bearded and robed figure. 398 grams, 17.5cm (7"). From the private collection of a medical professional; acquired from Mr Gilles Chaia; formerly from an early 20th century collection; accompanied by a copy of the original French passport number 063365; and a positive scientific analysis report from Ciram, France.
