Naqada II-III, 3300-3100 BC. A carved limestone jar of flattened form, depicting a frog with legs tucked underneath the body, four toes to each leg; the face with incised detailing, slit mouth and recessed eyes; the body hollowed out with circular everted opening at the top; two bronze lug handles on either side of the body.
