A large ceramic storage vessel with carinated body, shallow foot and shallow everted rim; upper part of the body decorated with motifs applied in paint; a band of processing stylised birds between borders above; alternating panels depicting animals and geometric designs below; various colours-reds, greens, blacks, creams, and oranges survive. 5.4 kg, 36cm wide (14"). Property of a North London gentleman; acquired in London prior to 2000; previously in a 1970s collection.
