A group of three painted ceramic vessels: one drum-shaped with broad, flat shoulder and everted rim painted with a series of bands, concentric circles and 'fan' shapes; one biconvex vessel with very shallow rim, the upper part of the body decorated with a series of vertical lines between two borders and alternating panels depicting stylised leaves and geometric patterns; a second vessel with a biconvex body and shallow everted rim, the top half of the body decorated with two horizontal bands of geometric designs. 1.4 kg total, 13-15cm wide (5 - 6"). Property of a North London gentleman; acquired in London prior to 2000; previously in a 1970s collection. [3]
