A group of two silver finger rings, comprising: a larger ring with flat-section hoop, triangular flange extension, elaborate incised scrolled patterns, a raised triangular section at the bottom of the shank with an incised triangle detail; a smaller ring with flat-section hoop, triangular flange extension, incised scrolled patterns. 7.34 grams total, 23-32mm (3/4 - 1"). Property of a Suffolk gentleman; previously in a 1980s UK collection. This style of ring was worn by archers on the thumb for archery. The smaller ring was possibly used by a child during practice.
