Three travel documents issued to Henry Anstey Bosanquet comprising: a leather-bound passport book and fold-out letter issued and signed by Lord Palmerston to Bosanquet on 19th August 1850 entitling him to journey on the continent (French text) with various stamps (Lyon, Bayonne, etc.), endorsements and manuscript notations to the letter and book; similar letter dated 2nd September 1861 issued and signed by Viscount Amberley allowing passage to Bosanquet, his wife and a maidservant, German text to heading; exit permission note issued in Bellagio on 8th October 1855 to Bosanquet. 74 grams, 12cm (4 3/4").
