Two Japanese shagreen ivory and brass-mounted chopstick cases, Meiji period (1868-1912), 29 and 31cm long (2) Provenance: The Trevor Barton Collection. Condition report: Darker shagreen - some rusting to the blade. Small area of loss to the end of the chopstick. Case and horn handle with wear. Lighter shagreen - blade rusted, ends of chopsticks dented.
