A German sculpture of a donkeys' head, modernly mounted and signed, circa 1900 Carved in two parts, polychromely painted wood in modern socket. Socket unclearly signed in gold. Formerly maybe used as carrousel animal. Rests of gilding. Damages due to age. Dimensions 35 x 39 x 16 cm. Condition: II - Skulptur eines Eselskopfes, modern gesockelt und signiert, deutsch, um 1900 Holz vollrund geschnitzt und gefasst. Auf Pflasterstein montiert. Dieser in Gold undeutlich signiert. Kopf eines Esels, wohl eines Karusselltieres, in zwei Teilen gearbeitet und polychrom bemalt. Reste von Vergoldung. Altersschäden v.a. an der Fassung. Maße 35 x 39 x 16 cm. Zustand: II -
