A Chinese jade Phoenix pendant in the style of the Western Han period, circa 1900 Thinly cut, half round jade pendant in the shape of a phoenix with long tail feathers. On the back as well as on the head there are tiny holes, which were used to pull through fine silver wires. Bright translucent jade. Intact. Length 9.3 cm. Provenance: From a South German family collection, acquired by the father in China in the 1920s and 1930s.
