A Chinese jade Bi-disc, circa 1900 Dark-green jade Bi-disc, partly sintered in grey tones. Partly translucent. Unusual division of both sides into two circular areas divided by a twisted band. The inner circle is completely covered with a rice grain pattern, the outer circle also completely covered with a spiral pattern. Intact. Inner diameter 2.7 cm. Diameter 10.7 cm. Provenance: From a South German family collection, acquired by the father in China in the 1920s and 1930s. Condition: II Bi-Scheibe, Jade, China, um 1900 Bi-Scheibe aus dunkelgüner, teils in Grautönen versinterter Jade. Zum Teil transluzierend. Ungewöhnliche Aufteilung beider Seiten in zwei durch ein tordiertes Band geteilte Kreisflächen. Der innere Kreis vollflächig mit Reiskornmuster (Noppenmuster), der äußere Kreis ebenfalls vollständig mit Spiralmuster. Intakt. Innendurchmesser 2,7 cm. Durchmesser 10,7 cm.
