A beautiful Chinese jade artifact, circa 1900 Long rectangular jade artifact with slightly curved longitudinal surfaces. Both sides divided into four equally sized fields, each filled with stylised cloud motifs. Pierced lengthwise in the centre. Intact. Length 9.1 cm. Width 2.8 cm. In the style of the time of the Warring States (4th - 3rd century B.C.). Provenance: From a South German family collection, acquired by the father in China in the 1920s and 1930s.
