An Egyptian alabaster canopic jar, 2nd - 1st millenium B.C. Thick-walled canopic jar without lid. Beautifully polished and patina on the outside, inside with typical grooves and sinter traces. Minimal bumps on the foot rim, otherwise intact. Height 19.8 cm. Provenance: From an old west German private collection. Condition: II - Alabaster-Kanope, altägyptisch, 2. - 1. Jtsd. v. Chr. Dichtwandige Kanope ohne Deckel. Außen schön poliert und mit Patina, innen mit typischer Riefelung und Sinterspuren. Minimale Bestoßungen am Fußrand, sonst intakt. Höhe 19,8 cm.
