Potted in brush washer shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to small straight close lip, raised on small round foot base. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in mille fleur design color. The Mille Fleur decoration, meaning the thousand flowers design first appears in the late Yongzheng period becoming extremely popular in the Qianlong and was carried on throughout the subsequent Jiaqing and DaoGuang periods, usually on a gilt ground. The dense millefleurs design features naturalistic blossoming peonies, chrysanthemums, hibiscus, morning glories, roses, lotus flowers, daisies, lilies and pinks amidst an abundance of foliage, the mouth rims with gilt bands, the bases and interiors often turquoise-enameled on older pieces. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
