Dimensions: 2-3/4" H x 5-7/8" Dia. Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng sgrafitto douqing glazed porcelain bowls. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in douqing design color under glazed base color which contrast against pale-turquoise- pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Depicted of meticulous finish sgrafitto scrolling ruyi clouds covered the surface, monochrome glazed covers the delicate clay, showing silky smooth and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made in The Years of YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
