Dimensions: 17-7/8" H x 10-3/4" W Superb jade ellipsoidal table screens depicting mountainous landscapes, with hand carved hardwood, stand. Jagged mountainside pathway with evergreen trees jutting from the rock toward two traveling Daoist scholars. The Daoist scholars gather at a temple nestled in the crag of the mountainside. Jadestone is translucent in appearance with a creamy white coloration. A circular frame is fastened around the diameter of the jade and then placed on an elaborately carved stand with vine-like scroll-work throughout.
