提要：李根源（1879—1965）字雪生，又字养溪、印泉。云南腾冲人。生于云南腾越，近代名士、中国国民党元老、上将，爱国人士。宣统元年9月，任云南讲武堂监督兼步兵科教官，旋升总办。民国六年2月，到任陕西省长。民国十一年11月，任北洋政府农商总长。民国十二年，因反对曹锟贿选总统，辞去其国会代表职，隐居吴中。民国二十九年春，返回昆明就任云贵监察使职。1965年7月5日，李根源病逝于北京。
