By Nagamichi Shuzan, signed Shuzan Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912) Finely carved and painted in imitation of a bizen ceramic model depicting Hotei, wearing an elaborately decorated long flowing robe opening at the chest, revealing his protruding belly, and holding a fan in one hand and his treasure sack in the other, a joyous expression on his face. One single himotoshi to the back. Signed SHUZAN to the sack on the reverse. HEIGHT 4.3 cm Condition: Good condition with minor surface wear, some wear to the paint.
