A Victorian Swiss Enamel Brooch, mid 19th century, the rectangular enamel plaque depicting a Swiss village with a river, bridge and snow-capped mountains beyond, within an openwork ribbon motif frame with blue enamel decoration, length 6.0cm see illustration . The brooch is in good condition. Enamel plaque measures 4.2cm by 2.9cm. It fastens with a pin and hook catch.It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 17.35 grams. CR made 25.11.20.
