“大明宣德”四字两行楷书款 明代因宣德炉的产生，营造出古代中国铜器艺术的又一高峰，红袖添香伴读书成为文人向往之风雅。久负盛名的宣德彝器以优美简雅、皮色多样影响后世，但明代宫廷官方亦有金碧辉煌华丽养眼的重器制造，其大气庄重，成为与宣炉并行发展的另一种审美。 此炉平唇口沿，束颈，腹部垂扁而出，圈足微微外撇，腹身部份延展出两个兽首环耳。整炉采以精炼黄铜铸成，岁月的剥蚀，局部泛出铜绿，局部现出红色。
