銅鎏金雙龍崁件以精銅為材，通體鎏金，厚重沉著，歷經千年依舊金色燦爛，可想見當時工藝的精工細琢。鎏金工藝始於春秋戰國，到了漢代已能熟練的應用，在青銅器上先鑄制或雕刻花紋，再鎏以金，成為當時銅器加工的特徵。此對鎏金雙龍雕鑄立體，雙龍騰躍之感栩栩如生，龍身矯健有力，雙目圓睜，龍口大張吐舌，利齒畢現，形象生動，靈動威武。造型動勢非凡，別有趣致，刀工圓潤有力，蒼勁古樸。通體鎏金，鑄造精美，工藝精湛，給人以金光熠熠的即視感。
