A carnelian cylinder seal with frieze of three standing figures: female in calf-length robe with one arm raised, male carrying arched bow(?), nude female with one arm raised; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 8.69 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). Property of a French collector; received by gift from his godfather who was a geologist at the National History Museum of Paris; previously acquired 1970s-1980s.[No Reserve]
