A group of three polychrome ceramic beakers, comprising: one with a piriform body, everted rim and flared foot, decorated with a band of stylised standing birds, wings spread, between two borders; one with broad carinated body and deep band of geometric motifs; one with slender keeled body and series of broad circumferential bands. 320 grams total, 7.1-11.5cm (2 3/4 - 4 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972.[3]
