A Pinxton teapot, cover and stand circa 1796-1813 painted in red with trailing lilies and gilt border, pattern 312 painted in gilt to the base of the teapot, teapot 15cm high, fishtail stand 19cm wide (3) (cover restored) See C.Barry Sheppard 'Pinxton Porcelain 1795-1813 and the porcelain of MANSFIELD and BRAMPTON-IN-TORKSEY', page 115, plate 142 and N. D. Gent - 'The Patterns and Shapes of the Pinxton China Factory 1796-1813', page 69 for a similar teapot and cover. Condition report: Finial has been re-attached to cover, there is a slight hairline visible to the base of the teapot. Gilded decoration to the lower half of the teapot's spout is rubbed, the teapot stand is also similarly rubbed.
