A Japanese Satsuma vase and cover, Ryozan mark, Meiji/Taisho period Of cylindrical form with twin lobed handles, decorated with a scene of bijin at leisure in an interior beneath a dense flower border, 9cm high, together with a small Satsuma vase, Yasuda, unidentified artist, of cuboid form with slightly domed cover, decorated with bijin alternating with landscape scenes, 9cm high (cover restored). (2) Condition report: The first: Cover finial restuck. Minor rubbing to gilt in places. The second: Cover completely restored. Rubbing to gilt in places.
