American, early 20th century, iridescent gold trumpet neck bordered below by gold, green, and white triple hooks, gold hooked leaf decoration, signed "Quezal" and "A764", 5-1/4 x 7 in. - Provenance: Minna Rosenblatt Antiques, Brooklyn, New York, purchased February 17, 1973 for $825 (accompanied by copy of receipt); Estate of Jay R. Doros, Springfield, New Jersey - Note: This vase was included in the exhibition "Flights of Fancy: The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company" at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey, April 13 through October 20, 1996, curated by Gay LeCleire Taylor. This piece is illustrated in the exhibition catalog on page 10, fig. 13.
