盖盒分上下两部分，以子母口相合，平底，圈足。除盖面外，通体施松石绿釉为底，光润细腻，完美无疵。盖面以珐琅彩绘西洋妇女婴戏风景图，绘制时对于人物衣着褶皱的处理非常细腻、流畅，手法颇有几分西方油画的风格，注重写实，描绘精细，色彩深浅合宜，立体感跃然。底书“乾隆年制”款。比较一件北京故宫博物馆所藏清乾隆 玻璃胎画珐琅西洋女子图鼻烟壶，绘有类似的珐琅彩装饰，与本品相较，绘画风格、用笔之法如出一辙。
