George Logan (British 1866-1939), a Foley China quartet c.1900, printed factory marks Comprising: tea cup, saucer, side plate and tea plate, each printed, painted and glazed with stylised floral motifs; together with three Foley Peacock Pottery trios designed by George Logan, each with a cup, saucer and side plate, each printed with roses, stems and leaves Largest plate 23.5 cm diameter (10) Property from a Private London Collection. Quartet purchased Lyon & Turnbull, 5th November, 2003, lot 122 Quartet blemish to the centre of the large plate and the side plate, with some wear and spec inclusions to both. Hairline on the cup. Light wear overall, colours ok, some fading/rubbing to gilt rim. Three trios: the cylindrical cup has a hairline. One side plate has some surface scrapes to the glaze. A few spec inclusions in the glaze and with some light wear overall.
