A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL SALT CELLAR AND SPOON, MAKERS GUSTAV KLINGERT AND IGNATIY SAZIKOV, 1888 comprising a salt cellar on three ball feet and a spoon with a twisted handle, decorated overall in Pan-Slavic taste, cellar marked underneath with 88 standard, date and assayer's mark A.R in Cyrillic for Aleksandr Romanov, Moscow town mark, workmaster's mark G.K in Latin for Gustav Klingert, spoon marked with 84 standard and St. Petersburg town mark, additional standard, workmaster's mark IS in Cyrillic for Ignatiy Sazikov; height of cellar: 3.5 cm (1 3/8 in.), diameter: 5.5 cm (2 1/8 in.), length of spoon: 7.7 cm (3 in.), overall weight: 61 g (2.15 oz) CONDITION The salt cellar and spoon appear in excellent original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use.
