款识：一九八三年秋九月，廖冰兄于白云宾馆。|钤印：廖冰兄、志大才疏|作者简介：廖冰兄（1915-2006），广西象州人。擅长漫画。广西象州人。擅长漫画。描画劳苦大众时，他是个悲悯的善人；反映社会丑恶时，他是个不屈的斗士。晚年，多以书法、小品为扶贫助学筹款集资，有一段时期喜画重彩风景画，多以广东水乡为题材，融中国画、西洋画、儿童画、版画、水彩、水粉画于一身，形成独特的艺术风格。曾任美协广东分会副主席，连续当选中国美术家协会理事。
