在藏传佛教的寺院中和信徒家中的佛龛前，一年四季都供奉着用酥油作燃油的长明灯，称之为酥油灯。点供灯是供奉佛、法、僧三宝的主要方式之一。在佛像或佛塔前点供灯，表示佛光普照。此件清代铜酥油灯，灯柄似铃，刻西番莲纹，深束腰托上方圆盘状灯盏，刻大莲瓣，器型稳重大气，品相一流。底部刻款雍正五年吉日造。
