Flat round bronze disc, which probably originally decorated an antique shield. In the middle a small hemisphere which is fixed with a pin. At the edges small round fixing holes, partly with the remains of iron nails, and a small semicircular recess for snapping in. Two larger rectangular holes resulting from large square nails (later consecration in a sanctuary or tropaion?). Beautiful dark green patina. At the edges traces of corrosion of the antique bezel. Scratches on the front. Diameter 23.4 cm. Thickness about 0.2 cm. Weight 331 g. Provenance: From a private collection in the Netherlands.Condition: II - III
