|玉质白中泛黄，有沁色，呈扁长条形，两侧出戟，双面皆浅浮雕蝌蚪纹饰，纹饰排列有序，疏密有致。包浆色泽浓而不艳，古意盎然。工艺精美，上下通心穿可供系佩。本品为典型的春秋时期玉雕作品，确实为难得。勒子，又称“蜡子”，是挂于胸前或腰间的佩饰，有圆勒子和方勒子两种，可单独佩挂，也可与其它玉饰组合佩挂。圆勒子有圆柱状，也有细腰形、橄榄形、喇叭形、秤砣形等。玉勒历史悠久，在史前时期已普遍出现。
