A 19th century Russian icon, painted with the figure of Christ, with applied relief moulded, gold coloured halo and relief moulded white metal robes, within a gilded frame, in a walnut veneered, glazed case, icon 12cm x 9.5cm, case 20.5cm x 18cm Condition report: Icon ok, apart from metal tarnishing and gilding worn to reveal bole. Case – veneers cracked and with small chips, particularly the top.
