An Edwardian oak desk companion, of rectangular outline with moulded brass carrying handles, hinged moulded top and glazed fall front, opening to a fitted interior with stationary slots, small drawers and a pair of porcelain inkwells, 37.5cm wide x 21cm deep x 24cm high, together with a brass oil lamp with opaque glass shade, 58cm high. (2) Condition report: Desk companion: Good overall with only minor/negligible signs of age and use. Element missing from recess above drawers, possibly an ash bowl. Lamp: Fair to good overall with minor signs of age and use. Whick adjusters very stiff.
