A 1920s Shapland and Petter of Barnstable, stained oak Jacobean style bedroom suite, applied with split maces and nail headings and with Jacobean style mouldings, the triple door wardrobe with a fluted frieze and squashed bun feet, the right door opening to reveal a shelf above three slides over two drawers, the matching dressing table and marble-topped washstand with barley-twist supports united by scroll carved front stretchers, washstand lacking gallery, chips, wardrobe 137cm wide x 63cm deep x 210cm high, 122cm wide x 55cm deep x 79cm high Condition report: Washstand lacking gallery, Dressing table – very scratched top and faded. Bead below drawers on left side chipped and loose – needs re-fixing. Damaged above central frieze drawer on the left, where the drawer has been forced open. Wardrobe – chipped, including cornice, including 7cm section of front edge on far left side. All with chips dents and scratches.
