玉壶春瓶为传统瓷器中的经典器形，由唐代的净水瓶演变而来，定型于北宋时期，基本形制为撇口、束颈、垂腹、圈足。本品为标准的玉壶春造型，细长的颈部尽显秀雅苗条，通体施青釉，釉面匀净，色比青玉，制作精良。足露胎，略带火石红。齐身暗刻纹饰，布局繁密紧凑，层次过渡清晰，刻划豪放流畅，工艺精湛，所刻枝蔓花卉轻盈舒展，气脉连贯毫不逊色于笔绘之神韵，为明代玉壶春瓶之佳妙隽品。
