Ca. 800-600 BC. Bronze Age. Europe. A heavy bronze bracelet with a flaring, ribbed midsection and coiled, spiral terminals. In the Bronze Age, bracelets such as this one were used not only as jewellery but also allowed their owners to store wealth before the invention of coinage. Excellent condition; beautiful patina.
