宿白（1922年8月3日~2018年2月1日），男，汉族，辽宁沈阳人，著名考古学家、北京大学教授，1944年毕业于北京大学史学系。他是中国佛教考古和新中国考古教育的开创者，曾任北大考古系第一任系主任、中国考古学会名誉理事长。作为历史考古学上集大成者，在宗教考古、建筑考古、印刷考古和版本学等领域的造诣为学界所公认，著有《白沙宋墓》《藏传佛教寺院考古》《中国石窟寺研究》等著作，2016年获得首届中国考古学会终身成就奖。
