A terracotta warrior rider fragment comprising the head of the rider and head, neck, chest and uppermost part of one leg of the horse; detailing to the rider's face, beard and hood; mounted on a custom-made display stand and supplied with an information label dating the figure to the 1st century AD. 90 grams total, 15cm including stand (6"). From the private collection of a Shropshire, UK, collector; previously in the private collection of Simon Bennett, Shropshire, UK, gentleman pre 1960; accompanied by an old collector's display card.
