A bronze harness fitting comprising a crescent shank with loop to each end, attached link to each loop with tubular iron bead, transverse tubular finial; attached to the shank an openwork triangular plate with bead above, hinged bar with loops to the lower edge. 150 grams, 14cm (5 1/2"). From a North Yorkshire collection formed since the 1980s; thence by descent; accompanied by an invoice dated 8 September 1992. [No Reserve]
