An ornate bronze cosmetic or culinary strainer with square-section balustered shank and ribbed collars, T-shaped curved finial, lozenge plaque with opposed scrolls to the outer edge, dished D-shaped strainer with spurs to the rear edge. 42 grams, 11cm (4 1/4"). From a North Yorkshire collection formed since the 1980s; thence by descent; found Yorkshire, UK, in 1981. [No Reserve]
