painted with scattered flowers, within green dot borders and C-scrolled and acanthus moulded gilt rims, comprising; a comport, two two-handled tureens and cover and stands, six plates, two shaped circular plates with shell handles and two shaped oval plates, some pieces stamped' NANT GARW C W' Provenance: Landwade Hall, Exning, Suffolk Condition report: Plates: They all have impressed marks. Usual wear to the gilding especaially at the edges. One has slight pitting to the undesride. Three have small rim nicks to the footrims. One has quite a bit of enamel missing to one of the pink roses and a 13cm surface crack to the underside. All with typical scratched and slight rubbing to the enamel. Comport: Is not marked, gilding and enamel overall is good, slight pitting in places. Two shell shaped plates: Both are marked. Quite a bit of rubbing to the gilding, especially the rims. Two oval dishes: Both are marked. Quite a bit of rubbing to the gilt rims. Usual slight scratches to the enamel Tureen stands: One is marked. Gilding overall is good with slight rubbing to the enamel Tureens and covers: Not marked. Rubbing to the gilding to the handles on one. Rubbing to the gilding at the rims. One has sections of the gilding missing to the rims and the moulded rim to the centre of the body. One of them has a tiny crack to the inner rim where the lid sits.
