Dimensions: Heigth: 4.6 cm, Diameter: 8.8 cm Chinese Qing DaoGuang Beijing Yellow Glass Box. Stoutly carved Chinese glass unto a circular form, correspondence dome lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid. The interior, exterior are both covered in yellow color, carved with imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Peking glass originated in 18th century China during the rule of the Qing Dynasty. Historically, many pieces of Peking glass were made with yellow glass dubbed Imperial Yellow, due to the colors strong association with the Qing Imperial. It is outstanding in terms of artistic aesthetics and collection value.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four carved seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within square line. Made in The Years DaoGuang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
