此石座于红木二级座上，玲珑剔透，多面可视，似云卷云舒，灵飞若动，曲折盘绕，如伏若踞。包浆光湛莹朗，质如腊脂，温润如玉。变幻多姿，浑厚饱满，包浆浓郁，色泽白中泛黄。表面凹凸起伏，沟壑纵横，形似雾似云，正如古代文人所云移石动云根，石如烟霭云涛，吞吐变化，灵气十足，若置于书斋停室一隅，即得隐逸林泉之致。
