款識：大明宣德年制 爐呈圓形，匏頂，弧腹，圈足，爐蓋鏤雕雲紋、龍鳳紋，爐身鏨刻海水異獸紋，爐側塑獸耳。爐上異獸，矯健靈活，賓士迅速，流雲蒼典柔婉，連綿不絕。海水激蕩洶湧，輝映異獸紋之氣魄。爐體運刀精確細膩，磨盤圓熟光潔，不露刀鋒棱角。此爐銅質精純，入手沉墜，鎏金裝飾，寶光澤澤，通體蠟茶之色，包漿溫潤，頗為難得。
