清康熙时期流行洒蓝釉瓷器，釉面多以金彩为饰，或于开光内绘五彩。拍品与上海博物馆藏品品种相类，外壁金彩保存较好，颇为难得。洒蓝又称「吹青」，釉色由蓝色斑点组成，因而又称为「点花蓝」、「雪花蓝」，釉色淳朴自然。 此件洒蓝釉笔筒属康熙朝器物，直壁形，器型规整，仪态端庄。胎体坚质而细腻，有明显厚重感。外壁通体施洒蓝釉，其上以金彩描绘各式花卉纹，绘工精美，如置于案头，既为实用，也可养藏，当为一件不可多得的文玩佳器。
