A large bronze figure modelled in the round as a stylised standing horse in Han Dynasty style, ears pricked forwards, mouth open in a whinnying pose, flared nostrils, detailing to the eyes and facial musculature, right leg held forwards, cropped mane, short tail held aloft, detailing to the legs and hooves, the body decorated with an elaborate series of stars, dashes, spirals and scrolls inlaid with silver; hollow underside.
