A carved calcified jade or ceramic bi funerary disc, to one face a dense pattern of raised bumps neatly arranged in an hexagonal grid pattern between plain inner and outer borders, label reading '1589' to reverse; accompanied by a custom-made hinged display box. 167 grams, 12cm (4 3/4"). Ex Mr Ishiguru, Tokyo, Japan; formerly with Masaru Kawachi, Nagoya, Japan, since 1971. Condition Report Fine condition, heavily patinated.
