Property of a London gallery; previously in a private UK collection formed 1980s-1990s. The sword belongs to type 36 of Maxwell-Hyslop classification. The indented ricasso could be used on pointed blades with straight sides, designed for thrusting or on a leaf-shaped blade, more suitable for cutting. Condition Report Fine condition.
