Late Ming Dynasty The bottom of the interior intricately enamelled depicting a Daoist paradise scene of standing figures in civil dress with two female seated in a palace, all picked out in white, blue, green and yellow enamels, the cavetto encircled with the bamboo shoots, pine tree and prunus flowers reserved on a white ground, the everted rim flange decorated with key-fret, chrysanthemum and cloud bands, the undersides undecorated. 50cm (19 5/8in) diam. 注脚 明晚期 銅胎掐絲琺瑯人物故事圖折沿大盤 The present basin belongs to a group of cloisonné enamel wares produced during the late Ming dynasty, likely made for scholars and to enhance the connoisseur's pleasure by adding richness to the decorative scene.
